Our Mission
Our mission is simple: our seasoned organizers will go into under-invested communities to help candidates for
DA and Sheriff who reject police union money and vow to end police brutality win their elections.
We can all agree that police need to be held accountable, and that police brutality against communities of color, especially against Black Americans, must end. However, the politicians who are elected to do just that have failed time and time again (maybe because police unions fund their campaigns).
Well, no more. We will invest in under-invested communities to elect those who are from the community and will fight for the community.

Chair For too long have people of color in this country been targeted for the color of our skin by those who swore to protect and serve our communities. Having seen with my very eyes the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960's, the turmoil of the 70's and how much things have seemingly changed over the ears, it is disheartening to see both the institutional and the outward racism plaguing our communities to this day.
I am a retired librarian, educator and lifelong activist. My daughter is one of the hardest working social workers I've seen, and my son is an Assistant DA and the father of a newborn. My family is like a lot of American families nowadays -- we are a diverse bunch, we've seen the ups and downs of the economy and survived bankruptcy, and we will give everything to see meaningful change for my grandkids' future. We've teamed up with a group of veteran political strategists and organizers to try to make this change happen, but we need your help in form of a contribution. We took a hard look at races all over the country, and what we saw is that in many cases, these police-backed D.A.’s and Sheriffs run entirely unopposed. We hope that changes this year, and End Police Brutality PAC is here to make sure that when people step up and run, they will know that they’ll have support as well. In a lot of small or mid-sized cities and counties (like Hennepin County, where George Floyd was killed, or Jefferson County, where Breonna Taylor's killers are still on the loose), even a modest investment of resources into a close race can make a huge difference, and we’re going to be looking for those opportunities. Please consider contributing as much as you can so we can to help us do our part in ending police brutality. |
